The National Museum of Mongolia is the country's principal museum of history, archaeology and ethnography, with nine permanent halls and two temporary exhibition galleries.

Alongside collections care, the museum runs research, publishing and education programmes, guided tours, classroom sessions and a reading room for researchers.
