At the 14th joint session of the Little Khural and the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People's Republic, held on February 2, 1936, regulations and procedures regarding the awarding of ranks and orders to military personnel and political workers of the Mongolian People's Army were adopted. The design for this order was created by the renowned artist D. Choidog.
