Hall 6. Traditional Economy

This hall features exhibits showcasing the unique aspects of traditional Mongolian livelihoods, including artifacts, a Mongolian *ger* (yurt), equipment for the "five types of livestock," hunting gear, household items, and objects related to the traditional nomadic way of life. Mongolians are a people who have long practiced a classic form of nomadic pastoralism, herding the "five types of livestock": horses, cattle, camels, sheep, and goats. Alongside animal husbandry, they have also engaged in supplementary economic activities such as hunting, crop cultivation, and small-scale household production.
